This is a sample symposium proposal. The symposium organizer (who is also this submitter) is responsible for doing many things.
First the organizer must make contact with the speakers & discussants, and explain what this symposium is all about. Those people whose "notify" boxes are checked will immediately receive notify mails when this proposal is submitted. Don't let this take them by surprise.
Second, the organizer must see to it that all position papers of the speakers are submitted in due time. Note that the review process of symposia will evaluate the entire symposium submission (the proposal and individual position papers) as a single entity.
