We planned two excursions for A-LIEP 2009 participants and accompanies. Come and join to excursions, Both are free.
Please book your seat by email (a-liep@kc.tsukuba.ac.jp) or at the registration desk on the conference venue(Auditorium).
We will accept booking until bus seats are filled (up to 25 people per excursion).
We hope that you will enjoy another aspect of international conference.

Excursion 1 (for accompanying person):

• Plum blossom viewing at Mt. Tsukuba and Tsukuba-san Jinja (Shinto-temple) visit on March 7 (Saturday), 1:30 pm-5:30 pm (approx. 4 hours)
• Please note that bus of Excursion 1 will leave at the main entrance (see below) at 1:30 pm on March 7.
• You should be there at least 5 minutes before.
• If cancellation is required, please inform at registration desk as soon as possible.

Excursion 2 (for those interested):

• School library visit in TSUKUBA MIRAI City on March 9 (Monday), 9:00 am-11:30 am (approx. 2.5 hours)
• Please note that bus of Excursion 2 will leave at the main entrance (see below) at 9:00 am on March 9.
• You should be there at least 5 minutes before.
• If cancellation is required, please inform at registration desk as soon as possible.

  We guide you to a municipal school's library in Tsukuba area.
  It is neither outstanding nor advanced, but we guess you will witness the real issues occurred in an ordinary Japanese school library without specialists.
  And certainly you will be able to see tough, kind and passionate library supporters and volunteers who love the kids and the library!
