TERUYAMA Junko (Associate Professor) : Cultural anthropology, medical anthropology
I am interested in how illnesses, disabilities and health problems are talked about, defined and experienced by patients, and how knowledge is produced through these practices. Thus far, my research has focused on developmental disability (LD, ADHD and high-functioning autism) in Japan.
