SHIRAI Tetsuya (Professor) : Local History in Japan, Historical Materials, Archival Science
Study local history in Japanese from 16th to 19th century and its fundamental materials such as topographies. Conduct research on history and methods of function, interpretation, research, preservation and use of historical materials. Currently, interested in theories and practical issues to preserve and use the records and memories in local communities in the future, and consider all the various factors together while learning from the experiences of archival science or museology.
